The Moontech Realtors Care Initiative in collaboration with the Michael Odokoro Foundation organized a wellness outreach for Realtors in Enugu at Coal City Garden Estate GRA Enugu on 20th June 2026.
The Realtors Care Initiative was birthed by our founder, Dr. Micheal Odokoro, who is also the CEO of Moontech Real Estate.
In his years of experience, he has noticed health negligence among Realtors, reasons ranging from excuses tied to busy schedules, physical and emotional stress of the business, lack of adequate rest and exercise, poor nutrition, weight management, and the list goes on.
This initiative is an intervention targeting Realtors and their Families.
The outreach was well enriched with medical professionals including Medical doctors Pharmacists, Lab scientist and Medical students who are volunteers in the Micheal Odokoro Foundation.
We had over 100 Realtors and their Families in attendance and each individual present underwent different series of free medical checkups and of course with their consent, this includes
_ Checking of vital signs
_ Checking of blood sugar
_ Screening for malaria
_ Screening for HIV and Hepatitis B.
After which, they also received free medical consultations, properly diagnosed and given free meditations as the case may be.
Part of the outreach also featured health education based on the most common health issues discovered among them like diabetes, hypertension peptic ulcer ,HIV and hepatitis B. They were also educated on how to improve their general well-being and that of their Families lies this includes:
_Going for Medical checkups routinely and when necessary.
_ Dangers of self medication and Antibiotics resistance
_ Eating Adequate diet
_Weight management
_ Proper rest and sleep
_How to take care of children with special needs
_Importance of exercise.
The outreach also featured, a discussion time, where Wealth, Investments and good business strategies was discussed, this was anchored by our Founder, Dr. Micheal,of course it was one of the essential part of the outreach. During this exercise fruit salad and Jotters that contains heart warming write ups and encouragements were shared to the Realtors as refreshments and souvenirs respectively.
The Realtors Care Initiative is the first of it’s kind and was graced by the presence of the Enugu Chairman of Nigerian Medical Association, Dr. Sunday Okafor with his colleagues and friends, also the Afia TV was equally present.
Our Foundation’s vision of “Restoring health and Spreading hope” has yet again impacted the lives of Realtors, enabling them to preserve and nurture their health while creating wealth.
