Michael Odokoro Foundation (MOF) Scholarship Program
For Indigent University Students
The Michael Odokoro Foundation (MOF) is pleased to introduce a structured scholarship program designed to support indigent medical students in Nigerian universities. This initiative is aimed at removing financial barriers and enabling academically promising students to complete their medical education without interruption.
Program Coverage
The scholarship provides annual financial support until graduation, covering:
- Tuition fees
- Accommodation costs
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
A. Indigent Status:
Applicants must demonstrate financial need and lack of adequate sponsorship.
B. Field of Study
Open strictly to medical students (both pre-clinical and clinical, i.e., pre- or post-Second MBBS).
C. Academic Standing
Beneficiaries must show strong academic commitment and performance.
Academic Excellence Incentive
To promote excellence, the program includes a merit-based bonus:
- Any scholar who earns a distinction in any MB examination will receive a one-time academic excellence stipend of ₦100,000.
Scholarship Review & Continuity
- The scholarship is reviewed annually.
- Beneficiaries must maintain good academic standing to remain on the program.
- Consistently poor academic performance will result in withdrawal from the scholarship.
